Waterton Beach Zoom

As I mentioned yesterday, this is exactly the same picture as before, just cropped differently.  Most of the images I do end up being the about 300% of their normal size, just because it’s a 6MP camera, and then I’m cramming all that data down to 800×600 (max) pixels.  However, this crop is exactly 100%.  It’s crazy to see how much detail there really is, especially since I was probably half a mile away (at least).  I’m really amazed at the detail of the rocks in the water.

Oh, and don’t the people and trees look fake?  It’s amazing what a macro type blur can do to your perception.
