I’m not sure exactly what happened yesterday. I thought I ftp’ed the image files up to the server, but apparently I was mistaken. Must have been that Tylenol cold and sinus nighttime. Wierd. Anyways, I’ve re-uploaded them, so here it is.
I hope everyone had a good Easter weekend!
Out in front of the AON building, there’s a fountain that has these metal rods that point skywards. When I was taking this picture there was actually quite a bit of wind, which caused them to sway. The noise they make isn’t really all that nice either.
On my way back from the lake, I decided I needed to take a few more pictures. Since there’s not much greenery on the walk back, I decided to take a few urban images.
No updates on the new site, as I wasn’t able to work on it at all today. However, these little magnetic guys are fun. Not cheap but fun.
Obviously this isn’t a real tree, but instead a candle of sorts. I actually moved it from where it originally was for the light. Again, this was when I was bored, and it was cold out. Thankfully that’s changing.
It’s been quite a few days since I put anything up, I know. There’s just been a lot going on, and this has been the last thing on my mind. However, I to get my mind back into it, and get excited again, I’ve got the redesign almost completely done. As of this post, I only have 13 “things” I need to do to it, and it’s ready for prime time. It most comes down to the comments window, which always takes the most time, redoing all the text and writeup on the about page, and coming up with the right location for the info/comments link on the main page. Some things are going to change with the new design, for example, the archives page will be gone, and categories won’t be displayed anymore, but I think it adds a needed simplicity to the site. We’ll see.
Again, the same grapefruit, just processed a little bit differently.
This is the same grapefruit, but from a different angle and a deeper depth of field. You can see how juicy it was down between the ridges. It was good.
