Another shot of Erin’s cousin. There’s actually not a whole lot of post processing on this other than some soft blur and a slight recrop. I wish she was looking at me a bit more as to get more of her eyes, but overall I definitely like it.
I’ve also created a new view, the Calendar. I’ve really liked this on other people’s sites, so I wanted to see what it would look like here. Needless to say, it really shows my lazy times. 🙂 Let me know what you think. Keep the big bunch of images as the archive, use the calendar, or both?

Today’s image was taken this past week while I was on vacation. With the 4th of July on a Wednesday, I decided to take the whole week off. I didn’t really have anything planned, but I wanted a break. So, the first half of the week, I did things around the new house, like putting up blinds since they came in.
The second half the week though, Erin and I went up to her grandma’s cottage and then went to visit my parents up in Northville, MI. This image is actually Erin and her sister, who just turned 15, up at her grandma’s cottage.
I should be posted more shots too, since I took quite a few. I’m also starting to use Lightroom, and some of it’s website features. We’ll see how that goes. More than likely, I’ll be using it for when I’m at an event, and take a lot of images that people may want. I’m thinking of parties, weddings, vacations, etc. I’m not sure if I’m going to make this browsable by normal users yet or not, but keep your eyes peeled.
This is the final picture I’ll be putting up around Erin’s Graduation. Well, actually, in this series. There are still quite a few good pictures that I took, and I could see myself revisiting them if I need to raid the archives. However, tomorrow, we’ll be returning to macro industrial shots. Exciting, I know.

In other news, I take off for vacation tomorrow (yay!). Everything should run smoothly for the week that I’m gone, but I make no promises. I doubt I’ll be checking anything intarweb related while I’m away, so if it’s broke, it’ll stay broke till I get back.
